I had a miscarriage about 9 weeks in to the pregnancy exactly 3 months ago. I did not have a DNC - i just went back to work and wanted it to happen naturally. I had about 8 days of bleeding and thought that was it. I had a normal period last month. And this month. and then a week after my last period I started experiencing cramping - and then suddenly very heavy bleeding. I have been bleeding very heavily for 8 days now. Yesterday the pain was so bad that I honest to God thought I was going to die. I nearly called an ambulance. the bleeding was severe. I put off going to the ER and went to see a dr today. He basically told me i would be fine. Anyway, about an hour ago at lunch, when going to the toilet, a large sack passed. It was about the size of a small orange but more egg shaped. It looked like a sack, purple in color. I imagine it to have been the baby? Is it possible that I walked around with it still in me for 3 months? should I do anything now or is this finally just the end of it?
