The Civil War begun b/c the south wanted to be their own country. When Abraham was elected, everyone knew they were going to war.

Civil War began after Abraham Lincoln made the Emancipation Proclamation.. It basically pissed all the southern slave owners off and so the states seceded.. South Carolina being the first.

Second question is probably too time consuming to answer if you want to be specific..

And third, it was located in Richmond, Virginia. 30 miles from the Union's capital XD
