I had my third surgery in 12/07. My pain was slightly better for a while, probably the meRAB. I am now once again in 5-7 range 24/7. Life has pretty much stopped for two years now. I am 43 and this pain is ridiculous. I was given Cyrabalta along with orders for MRI and EMG at my appointment this week. I guess my Ortho is confusing pain with depression. Pretty hard to be ectastic about never ending pain. Hopefully something on the MRI.

I understand!!! I am two years out at 47 years old and still on regular doses of pain meRAB. Its better than it was but not as good as I hoped.
I take Cyrabalta too-it took about two weeks before I saw a difference but I WAS able to reduce my pain meRAB after it had been in my system a while. How long have you been taking it? Get past the first week of nausea and you should be ok.
I am also on Lyrica twice daily for nerve pain and hyrdocodone (Vicodin) twice a day ( or three depending on how long the day gets!)
I am praying for a break thru for you!!
