2mega-pixel camera phone as a text scanner?

hi,
is "2mp camera phone with no autofocus, no macro mode or without both useful as a text, document scanner?

i'm interested in eten glofiish x500, can it be used to picture a business card or a document? and would it be readable?

appreciate any advice from x500 users or owners of any 2mp with no af or macro.
