Hi. I'm 18 years old and exactly 27 weeks pregnant. Yesterday I noticed that my facial features were a bit abnormal then usual. I thought it was just the way I slept, so I let it go and would see how it was in the morning. I woke up this morning and noticed that it got worse. My entire left side of the face has no movement. I went in to the ER today and was diagnosed with Bells Palsy. The told me it was kind of rare especially with someone my age. I asked if it was temporary and they said only time will tell. I'm currently on steroids. I was wondering if anyone else has had Bells Palsy during there pregnancy and how long it lasted. I really hope it will go away. Also, I had to give a urine sample, and my urine had protein (which it has never had in this pregnancy) & had some white blood cells. Any help would HELP ! Thank you.
