My husband and I are going on a 22 mile bikeride on the beach with his work this saturday. We are taking our twin boys, 2 years old. They will ride along in a bike trailer. I am a little nervous - it sounds like a long ride. What should I bring? I want to make sure I don't forget anything. Gosh, is this going to work? I sure hope so. They still nap but I am hoping they will nap on the ride.
Yeah, I think we are going to meet at the end point for the beach party instead. I consider myself to be pretty fit, but it sounds like the bike ride from hell indeed!

22 miles seems like a lot for 2 year olds. Have they ridden in the trailer before? If not, it might make for a long day.

If you will be riding on the beach, it may not be such a smooth ride and if it's too bumpy, they might not nap.

If you think they can handle it, bring sunscreen, drinks, some snacks, maybe one or two of their favorite stuffed animals.

you my friend, are trying to achieve the impossible
it will almost certainly be the bike ride from hell
but, if youre adamant about it, then take some low energy foods that they like so theyll be more inclined to snooze...
22 miles for a decent cyclist wouldnt take too long, for a load of middle aged men on dodgy bikes, well, it should prove to be an interesting day :)
