I happened to be in Vegas last week when this film came out. The Casino's are quite intrigued about it as they suspect they will be hit with a wave of card counters trying it on, even though they have changed their procedures to make it much more difficult these days.

Its all completely legal isnt it.

Didnt know the casinos changed their procedures to make it harder.

Quite frankly you have to be some kind of maths genius to do what they do.

It is completely legal, although the casinos would probably ask you to leave is they suspected you of it.

They use automatic card shufflers now but people still do it.

Actually you don't it involves keeping a score which increases or decreases depending on the value of the card. It is explained in the back of the book upon which the film is based.

However having been burnt with card counting the casinos are a lot harder to beat this way
