20w50 oil in my 2005 ford focus?

Ive only just relsied ive put the wrong oil in my 55reg focus!

Ive went and put 20w50 in it and have prob done about 1500miles since!

How serious is this? is my car going to be knackered?

Also im going to speak to my mechanic to get it oil changed, he prob wont be avaible to do it for about a week, would i still be able to drive it? im prob going to do about 300 mile this week?

Not that big of a deal. It's still oil. Get it changed out when you can.

It won't hurt. Just don't drive the car too hard until it warms up. You all ready drove it 1500 miles and nothing happened.
