The headlights are AWFUL. But ... the rest of the car looks pretty damn good. The fastback roof, glass and rear fenders were obviously influenced by Aston Martin. The rear deck and bumper reminds me a little of a Porsche 911 Carrera. It is not perfect ... but instantly recognizable as a Mustang. It's crisp and modern ... and I'm glad that Ford wisely chose to continue the much-loved heritage theme. When I turned 16, my dad bought me a black 1968 Mustang with a 289 cubic inch V8. Since then, I have owned several different Mustang GTs and consider myself to be a bit of a fanatic / expert on these wonderful cars. Let's just hope that Ford doesn't stupidly follow Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche in the trend to get rid of stick shift cars. This campaign has already alienated scores of loyal customers. While paddle shift may arguably be slightly faster, it takes the fun out of driving. (-I personally know several old-school Ferrari owners who will never purchase another Ferrari as long as they only come with paddle shift.) We buy these cars for the fun of driving. If I just needed a car to get from A to B, I'd get a plain vanilla Toyota Camry. Ford should never lose sight of the fact that PURISTS (like myself) buy Mustangs again and again. Overall, I give the 2015 Mustang an A - ... but they still need to change those FUGLY headlights, so the front doesn't look like a Fusion.
