2012: is a must see movie, breathtaking and the picture effect are the best. the only film to Grab your seat nearly thoughtout.
the film is Nr 3 Hours.
I have Seen this movie twice.
much Better than i thought.
2012 is one of the most Budget movie made Film off all time. the costing Beats Harry potter, Lord Of the rings, Armageddon hanRAB down.
Imagine 2X Amount of Lord of the rings films Costing Companied.
The Film went straight to Number 1 in the UK and USA. after 1 week at top Twilight knocked it off. What a Liberty.
Watch this film you be amazed by the Features and effect.

Disaster movies just aint my idea of entertainment! Even with all the special effects.

The special effects are what are putting me off from going to see this film. More often than not, they're there to paper over poor dialogue and an awful storyline.

This film is terrible, one of the worst films I have seen, probably the worst film I have seen at the cinema since "Blair Witch 2"

I can't believe you called this film epic and my jaw dropped when I read masterpiece.

Woeful characters, terrible dialogue, ridiculous scenes and mini plotlines. Full of worn out, obvious cliches done worse than ever before and full of the worst type of cheese hollywood can try and spoon feed you.

I think you're wrong about that but there we go. All disaster movies are attached the same stigma and they pretty much have the same formula. I saw many many pararells to 2012 that can be drawn to Independence Day for example but in my opinion ID is still the better film.

Which is fair enough, but if it's done right a disaster is just my thing :D

It's all a matter of opinion. I thought it was a good expensive enjoyable yarn of a film. Special effects epic. The Film was one of those epics that won't be seen in it's way into the collection of movie classics. The special effects are obviously a major factor in its success but not the only one. There are actors with a story to play too.

I had the pleasure of seeing this tonight.

Its a formulaic, overly long, generally boring movie.

The only things I enjoyed were Woody Harrelson, Chiwetel Ejiofor and the biggest actor in the thing, the FX.

The story itself is bilge, and the only thing it made me feel was disappointed that John Cusack's character and his hideous family weren't dying through every disaster...

Pish poor.

This film is anything but amazing. It's far too long to be interesting. Some movies can cope with the length they are on for but not this movie. This movie should have been a 90 minute flick not close to a 180 minute flick. That limo escaping the collapsing road scene was laughable. It's so bad that it is on par with the Bus jump in Speed.
