2011 Road King Seat - Lower!!!

I did a comparison of the photos on the HD website of the two Road Kings...the 2011 seat is MUCH lower, and not such a "bucket" like the 2010 seat.

Has anyone else noticed this?? Or are they displaying a optional seat?

2010 Road King

Laden: 27.3"
Unladen: 29.9"

2011 Road King

Laden: 26.5"
Unladen: 28.0"

Is it all in the seat? Yes it is.

I put a Sundowner on my '10 RK. The stock one was as ugly as it was uncomfortable - stock one is horrible IMO

Really like the Sundowner though - no butt burn - no moving aroung - I've got a backrest on it - that took some getting used to - but now I've got to change the bars!! I'm going with mini apes

America keeps growing taller and Harley keeps making bikes lower. Am I the only one that sees something wrong with this picture?

At 6'3" I am growing tired of all the new "low" bikes.

Yep!! 6'2" here - I do not need a lowered bike! All the SG's are lowered
and the RoadGlide custom as well. I had to look at the spec's to make sure
my RK was not lowered..

I have noticed since I have been here that a lot of those lowered FL's are going to the regular length shock.

you right downsize the bastards
cost me a lot of money to reach te ground on the roadking 2010
i change the sadlle/lower the front /lower rear shocks/handlebar etc
serieus money to ride a rkc those days
