brand new mazda 3 2010, i am having problems with it. i only had it for 3 months now.
i got my mazda 3 2010 three months ago and i already went to the shop twice. on 10/25/2010, it will be my third time going for the power steering issue.
first visit, very loud grinding noise from my left front wheel after owning my car for two weeks. the grinding noise sounded like the brake pads grinding against a metal. the wheel no longer produced the sound after a very loud thunk, like something has fallen apart.
second visit, i started hearing loud sqeaking noise when i turn my wheel. i found out that it was coming from the power steering pump. i have never heard that noise until that day. of course i took it in and they found nothing wrong with the power steering pump or anything else for that matter.
now current problem, as i was driving the traction control light, yellow light with a tire track, and the power steering light came on. my steering wheel locked up as i was driving.
i am taking my car in on monday, 10/25/10
