the hoyosung is $4000 the ducati is $3850 cant decide which to buy the Hyosung is real nice and sexy the ducati is well not quite slick in the frond but is a beast
teh ducati has 10k on it and the other only has 1000 miles
any other suggestions bikes that are quality and cheap

The Hyosung will only last for about a year. They are extremely poorly designed and use low quality materials. The Ducati is pretty old but much higher quality. I wouldn't buy the Ducati if it had more than 25,000 miles on it. Neither are a good choice, but the Ducati is the better of the 2.

If it is your first bike don't rule out the Kawasaki Ninja 250, you can buy them new for around $4000, they are high quality, easy to ride and have enough power to actually have fun on. My first street bike was a Ninja 250 and riding that thing was a blast. I am tempted to go and buy another one just because of how much fun I had with that thing.

If you already know how to ride you can find any Japanese 600 crotch rocket that is 4 or 5 years old for around $4000. Just about anything that is a Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, or Yamaha will be a good buy. Stay away from the Suzuki GSX 500. It is way underpowered and you will want another bike in 6 months, the ninja 250 is actually faster than the Suzuki 500.

The fact that a ten year old Ducati is worth $3850 ought to tell you something. The hyosung won't be worth sh*t in five years. In fact, it will probably be beer cans by then. If you get the Ducati and maintain it properly you will still be enjoying it in ten years.
