I have a 2010 Honda Civic Coupe, just bought it in July. 4,000 miles on it. Went to start it yesterday afternoon (it's about 32 degrees here) and it wouldn't start. I had to manually unlock the doors, the car wouldn't start nor would the engine even sound like it was trying to turn over. The car doesn't make a noise at all.
I tried to jump it twice yesterday, once with a jeep (the lights turned on for about 15 seconds total) and it wouldn't start and again with a honda accord last night. We ran the jump for 30 minutes and the car didn't start after that. When it was done, I was curious to see just if it would start if i took the black cable and hooked it to the negative of my battery for a second and the lights turned on and the car was fine! drove around for 5 minutes. Parked, turned off the car and it was dead again..
Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on??
