2009 Jeep PatriotCheck Engine light.?

I recently removed the cold air induction inlet to get to the battery on a 2009 Jeep patriot. There are no sensors on the piece that I removed. After I re-installed the cold air induction piece, I noticed that the check engine light lit up. It stays on constantly now. I installed the cold air induction correctly. Does anyone know how to reset the system on the jeep or what my problem might be?

go to your nearest auto parts store and have them scan it and tell you the code. you will then be able to know if you can fix it or just reset it.
