2009 harley davidson nightster, I need a different horn, the stuck one drives me nuts?

Ive owned this sporty since last year, and Ive never even honked the dang horn.

I thought it was there for decoration

The Finger works much better

well at least I feel better

I have a Stebel horn on my Valkyrie. Its big but its loud.
The bell on mine points straight down, I thinks is a light truck horn.

It sounds like a loud car horn.

Your horn is STUCK? Never heard of a stuck motorcycle horn before, but all things are possible. disconnect the wires to it before it kills your battery.

As to horns-all aftermarket horns are gonna require you to install a relay to make them work. As for sound or appearance, that is gonna be up to you. the hardest thing will be finding the horn relay, as there are a plethora of horns available for bikes.

One thing you have to consider is how many amps does the horn circuit supply?
The bike was carefully engineered to electrical supply a certain amount of amps to each particular circuit.
The fuse and the power supply that supplies the horn might be shared with other circuits.
Installing a different, aftermarket horn might take higher amps and might cause electrical problems.
You can rewire the new horn using a separate or new circuit using a relay.
