2009 Ducati Dealers Meeting?

Does anyone know the date of this years dealer's meeting?

And any educated guesses on when we might start hearing rumors on next years line-up?

I know there will be an 848r next year.. I have seen it in Ultimate Motorcycling mag/Robb Report.

That's what I was thinking you were confused with. I know their dropping the 1098r in favor of the 1198r. Also, as we all know there's the 2010 Hayden 848, but outside of
the new paint it's not much different than the base model?

Wouldn't it be odd for ducati to skip the S edition and jump straight to the R. Or has this been done previously with other models?

the S doesnt really fit in the line up, they can do an R and justify the cost.

Well, Ducati have a whole new engine layout they patented a while back that nobody has seen yet. Perhaps thats what we're gonna see this year? My guess is, we ain't gonna see much this year in terms of the Superbike.

The multistrada has been updated, as everyone probably knows. They're also building a different version of the Hypermotard, which is more off-road with wire wheels and such.

Personally, I can't wait to see the new motor design...

One funny thing is; Ducati recently released a race kit for the 848... I wonder what that means!

I believe that article is refering to the 2 pegram track bikes being sold on his website. Not neccesarily a consumer model.
