What is the best way to increase horsepower and mileage on this vehicle without affecting the warranty, as I have put a flowmaster muffler on this vehicle, a wix performance air filter and just put in Mobil1 on Saturday Sept 5th and have not noticed any increase of horsepower or mileage. I will not put in a K&N air filter as it will clog up the mass air flow sensor on a vehicle and from what I have heard a performance chip will void my warranty.
Does anyone have any advice to get more horsepower and maybe some extra mileage out of this vehicle as I drive it around 1500 miles on average per month, as I have heard that next year ( 2010 ) gas will be back around $4.00 a gallon and do want to do my part to make sure that the oil companies to get rich off of us again and hurt our kids from going to college or being fed ( the consumers ) as our government only seems to care about their pocket books and not ours.
