2008 toyota high lander engine knocking when it's cold?

Hi, I bought 2008 toyota high lander from north texas dealer on 10/15/08. The engine is knocking, sounds like from the bottom of the engine, let it warm up for 2 to 3 minutes, start to drive between 20 to 30
miles, the engine is knocking too, sounds like from the bottom of the engine and like the old old car. Please help, thank you
 
How many miles?
Could be any number of things.

Take it back to the dealer and take the mechanic for a ride
in it when it's cold.
 
You will get a certain amount of knocking from a cold diesel engine which will disappear quite quickly.
If you are not happy with the noise, surely a 2008 vehicle will still be under manufacturer's warranty.
