2008 pontiac g6 coupe leather seats will fit in a 1999 pontiac grand am gt?

wil they fit???

i want leather seats for my car...my grand am is a coupe && the seats from the g6 are coupe seats.... but cant find grand am ones so the next best thing on ebay is the g6 leather seats;; my question is.. are they the same && will they fit????? plz help me out thaknx.
 
first question to you- how much are the seats online??

second question- have you checked to see how much it would cost to uhpolster your seats?

reason I ask is because it might be cheaper. I am not sure if these seats will fit, considering the difference in years and you are unable to measure the bolt pattern under the seats on the g6 since it isn't in your yard.

find an uhpolstry shop in your town, the leather will cost more than pleather, but you can get your origanal seats redone not including material for about 60-100 bucks labor for an average price range. you will have to add in material costs. but they should give you a free estimate, and the good thing about car uhpolstry is they don't say "well when we opened her up this and that was wrong so..$$$$"
shop around alot of uhpolstry shops will beat others pricing!!
 
The 2 cars are completely different. I'm gonna go with the 1st guy and say just reupholster them. Its probably easier and cheaper.
 
Not too many people know this but most GM car seat cushions have the same bolt pattern where they attach to the seat frame. If you can get these measurements you can determine if the seats will fit in your car.
Another way to check is to contact an upholstery shop or an automotive recycler. They have crossover books that will tell you if these seats will fit.
