Hi There,
I want 2008 Mazda tribute owners only to respond. My Mazda Tribute is about 8 months old, it started sleeting and when i came to a stop my brakes started making a grinding noise while i was applying the brake, also the vehicle was extremely hard to stop, then it did it a second time ,i will take it to the dealership first thing in the morning. I found that this vehicle seems very unstable on ice when you are moving at a crawl, maybe because it sits up high, i don't know. I never had trouble with my old truck as far as maintaining control while driving on ice if your were driving at a crawl. Please Mazda Tribute owners i need your input about this issue, to see if you have experienced the same problem with the brakes. I know they're ABS brakes which feel mushy but this is supposed to be normal, but i've heard after i bought this vehicle that it has bad brakes but nobody explained what exactly that means, either the mushy feel or unsafe.
