My 2008 lincoln mkz had an accident last year in the front. A friend of mine bought the car at an auction and fixed it. I purchased the car from him January 2010. All was ok till 2 weeks ago. I heard a deep knocking or squeaking noise. 2 mechanics diagnosed a cracked motor mount. The ford dealership replaced it, said because of the accident it was not under warranty. Paid the $350.00, and now a week later the same noise is back. Why would it break again? What are my options? I hate getting ripped off at the dealer, so I need to understand this so when I go in I have bit of information.
