I just purchased a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee and want to know how I get this uconnect to work. When I press the button on the radio (I did some hunting on the net & think it is a REQ model) it says something like its not installed. The dealer didn't know and when I called a number for Jeep, the guy told me it is done by electronic code at the dealership. I have also found after market stuff. I want to know if I have to purchase anything else from the dealer like microphone, bluetooth module, speaker, etc. or are the already incorporated into the vehicle?
If it is something I can do myself I would like to know and perhaps a price range for NY/NJ area.
