Both are great cars and Honda and Nissan are in the top three with the least recalls. I would pick the Honda Civic SI. If you want to constuct modifications to the engine and body, you will have more options available. It just deepends if you want the car everyone has and their grandma or if you want ot stand out from the rest. If you want to stand out from the rest, get the Honda Civic SI Mugen.
