OK so I go riding at a local park,and at first I just stick to the roads and some trails.Then I start making my own trial and come across a swampy creek,And I decided since I have 27" tires and a 3" lift I could get across.So I put my two front tires in the creek then decide its a bit deep,and attempted to back out of it.Unfortunately I got no grip with my back tires.So I ask the people that live there if they can help me.They got me out and all was well.
Anyways,My winch then wasn't working at that time,and I bought it not working.And I was wondering how reliable are winches,will they pull you out(if working properly) 100% of the time,and if they are able to pull that kind of weight out of THICK mud.Also what winches to buy.
Hopefully next time I get stuck in the middle of the woods I'll have a winch to pull me out.
