2008 Ford Mustang Won't Start (Security System?)?

My mustang's battery died over a long weekend due to a GPS being plugged in. Now the car won't start and the remote doesn't work to open doors or trunk. I did the "turn key on/off 8 times and then push unlock button" and that got the remote working again. However, when I try to start the car nothing happens. The security light just flashes very rapidly. All lights and everything else seems fine. Battery is 100% charged.

Is there something else I must do to "reset" something?
