I have a 2008 Ford Fusion bought in June of 2008 and have 6,000 miles on it. I’ve had problems from the start and the dealer always feeds me the same b.s. line saying they can’t duplicate my issue when I bring it i. Can someone give me some advice as to what these issues could be? If I know a possible problem then I can go in there and act like I know what I’m talking about.

These noises all come from the front right portion under the hood if you were sitting in the driver seat. If you’re looking under the hood it would be the left portion closest to the headlights. I brought it to the dealer twice in July and August for this issue and got no help or resolution.

1. From the start, when I use the A/C the car makes a squeaking/squealing noise when I accelerate from a stop. I’ve noticed this more after the car has sat in a parking lot all day while I’m at work. I’ll get in, start the car and turn on the A/C and as soon as I go this noise happens. It continues for quite some time and then finally stops.

2. I live in Western NY, so once it started to get cold, I quit using the A/C and gave up. However, when it got real cold, I now noticed this exact same sound when I start the car up in the morning. I noticed it whether the heat was on or off when starting.

3. I also now hear a steady high-pitched buzzing/humming coming from the same spot and it is continuous.

I’m getting fed up because I paid a lot for the car and now I see them going for dirt cheap because the auto industry is worse now than when I bought. Can someone please help me out? I searched google and saw people complaining of this with the 2006/2007 models and told the dealer and they blew me off and said it couldn’t possibly be a problem in the 2008s. They said the belts are fine as well, but who knows if they’re being truthful.
