We purchased a 2008 Chevy 1500 gas truck in February. The next day the car stopped working. We took it into the dealer and they said that there is water in the gas tank, and said someone put it there. Since then the truck has been to the dealer 5 times and every time there is water in the gas tank and they charge $600 to drain it and say that there is no way water can get in the tank, unless someone puts it there.
What I have done.
- A lock on the gas tank
- Park the truck inside my garage which has an alarm
- Fuel at different gas stations using 91
The truck only has 4000 miles since I can't really drive it. The dealer is not helping. no one else drives the car and I am not putting water in the gas tank.
Does anyone have any ideas?
