2008 cadillac DTs question?

i want to change the engine to my cadillac DTS to a cadillac cts-v supercharged engine the engine i have right now is a v8 300 hp how much could i get for my engine and how much would the cts-v engine cost?
 
I believe the engine is called the LS9.

You can get the LS1(350HP) in your car for $10,000.

Or if you have double the money, buy an LS9.
 
I believe the DTS to be a front wheel drive. All of them I looked at were. So you would need front axles/CV joints capable of handling 550hp. No going to find that. So that leaves you with trading in your 08 for an 09. New the difference is $30,000. So you probably will be looking at $45,000 to trade. But at least it can be done.
