2007 toyota avalon lxs gas mileage on a full tank?

in july of this year i bought a 2007 avalon from the dealer when i drove it off the lot with a full tank the digital dash diplay said that i would get 425 miles on the full tank,but now when i put in gas and fill up my tank it only says 350 miles per gallon and i travel alot of highway miles a day to work,i called the dealer they said to turn off the ac and i should get better gas mileage than what i get now is there anything i can do to get better gas milege for my car
