2007 Suzuki SX4 Chip Question?

I recently bought a used 2007 Suzuki SX4 Hatchback, and I am not to pleased with the acceleration. I looked online for a preformance chip, but I have some questions. Some eBay ad boasts 250 HP and 75 MPG. I am a little skeptical of this. Can I install preformance chips by myself without much experience, can I get some help finding a preformance chip for my Suzuki, or tips on how to get better horsepower. Thanks
