2007 Pontiac G6 audio HELP!?

So i just bought a 07 Pontiac G6 and the stereo system is pretty lame and plain so I was thinking about getting the whole system upgraded. However, my whole info center is connected to the screen where it shows the clock & radio station & where you put the cd in like this

so my question is will i lose that feature if i get a deck or something installed? it tells me when i have low fuel, how many miles to the tank I have, when the oil needs to be changed etc. And IF i do lose it is there any way to get an auxiliary jack installed simply so I can play my ipod instead of changing the CD every 20 songs!
 
yea a cd changer is your only route unless you get mad creative and install a new head unit somewhere else like underneath ur current din

Your best bet, You can go to Best Buy, Circuit City or most electronic store or Audio store that sells Cd changer, where you can load 6 to 12 cds. Depending which one that you buy. You can get a Sony or Panasonic for $80 installed. Good luck!
