Thanks for the replies moosefan and Agent Express V. I subscribed using channel 188 in the epg. I will find out on Monday if it all worked.

As to the Saturday afternoon games on the Fox main network, Extra Innings does not carry these games.

Maybe [legit] subscribers *should* not have seen them, but they did appear at least for a few hours. Long enough for me to lock out the channels so they don't show in my guide as I have no interest in them.

Being a huge baseball fan, I'm very happy about this. I definitely will be subscribing.

Agent Express V there are 4 hd MLB channels in the guide, although only 3 were used Friday night.

Hey guys, did BEV get EI? I wonder when Shaw Winnipeg will get it? We just got WGN HD so at least there are more HD games to choose from but still not nearly enough!

I just called and ordered them. No monthly payments...WTF...oh well...It would be sweet for Bell to offer the Super Sports Pak(I can dream can't i). Hopefully Shaw sees what Bell is doing(adding MLB EI on TOP of already have NHL CI) and offers the Super Sports Pak.

NFL Sunday Ticket, NHL Center Ice & MLB Extra Innings finally Bell has all the MAJOR sports packages. I don't care for NBA League Pass because it goes HEAD TO HEAD with NHL season and I can only watch 1.

Now Bell just needs more adult channels and we are set(sorry but i can't watch 782 damn upgrade).

last fall someone on the forums stated that expressvu would be carrying the mlb package this year is there any further news on this, thanks.

i havent heard anything yet but a CSR told me they are
"probably" going to have it.

OK, so maybe they don't want to highlight that, if you subscribe, your July invoice will be almost $100 higher than otherwise whilst a Rogers Super Sports Pak subscriber will be just $26.95 and include (in July) Nascar HotPass which is another $159 charge for Bell customers. Plus NFL Sunday Ticket will be included two months later in Sep for Rogers but that's ANOTHER $179 or so fee for ExpressVu fans.

I get this package is wholly uncompetitive with cable companies, like Rogers, offering MLB Extra Innings and NFL Sunday Ticket in a Super Sports Pack.

Too bad we all aren't has lucky has you are. Not sure why you always come on here if you sub with Rogers. To stir things up?

I just called Bell and the CSR(after putting me on hold for 8-10 mins) told me negations(sp???) are still in progress

he said MLB is asking for more $$$ then what Rogers is paying and that Bell isn't prepared to offer what MLB is asking at the moment...he also said that they have seen the channelcanada article(lol)

take that for whats it worth....

I'll put my money on what Agent Express V has to say. Did you get any info today? I'm done hoping until I see those channels on my receivers.

Not really! When you want to suscrib to NHL Center Ice for example you need to take Sports 1, which cost you 8$ or 5$ a month depending on your programming packages

I feel that Superstations should be a pre-requirement for MBL Innings since lots of the games are carried out on those channels

Unfortunatly we can not offer the Superstation by themselve, we need to suscribe the client to the movie package. Superstation alone could only be used as a retention tool

did someone mention Rogers Sportsnet and HD in the same sentence...now THAT is funny...seriously, Rogers REALLY needs to step up the HD sports content they carry...it's pathetic compared to TSN...i honestly wonder why there is even a Rogers Sportsnet HD channel, i don't think i have ever caught anything actually in HD on it (i am sure there is, but not something i have actually watched).

Q: What is a Blackout?
A: When a game is 'blacked out', the channel that that game is scheduled on will appear blank. This will occur if you live within one of the participating teams' 'home territory'. Blackouts are designed to protect the television rights-holders in each team's respective home market. In addition to local blackouts, nationwide blackouts can occur when a network has exclusive broadcast rights for a game, meaning they have purchased the right to be the only network in the country to show that game. To find out how blackouts apply to your sports subscription, scroll down the page.

Blackout Rules for Canada
Q: Regional Blackout Info for Blue Jays Viewers within the Expos Territory.
A: If the customer lives in a postal code that is within the Montreal Expos 75Km territory, and the Toronto Blue Jays are playing that day. The customer will be blacked out from the Toronto Blue Jays Programming for that game. They will be able to view their Montreal Expos. Blackouts protect the local rights holders who arrange separate distribution agreements for their exclusive territories.

Can NHL CI blackout ABC NHL games in CI?

Well, firstly NHL hasn't been on ABC in three years.

Secondly, do all games on VS. appear in NHLCI? Nope. Why not? But those are US nationally televised games. Using your logic those are all in NHLCI. Sorry they aren't.

MLB Extra Innings will launch on Friday, June 15 on Bell Expressvu.....Does everybody see it now.......LOL.
Up to 60 out of market games......300 in HD this season......Cheers.
