When I steer right all the way a thum-thum-thump noise is emulating from the front left wheel. When I bought the car the axle was busted from an accident, so I replaced it. Then after changing the transmission in the car, the mechanic told me that the axle will also need to be replaced to fit snuggly because it was missing a gasket. Now same side is making that noise, is that a CV-joint gone bad? You would think that after two new replacements it would work.
Pretty sure it's a CV joint. Also note that it does this in cold weather.
