I have 22800 miles on my jeep. its never been offroad. and my rear end just blew and my transmission was slipping the week before. its under warranty until feb 2010. what would you do?
how do i request a new rearend and transmission on the car? all i see is problems happening in the future if all the do is repair it.

Take it to the dealer now. Tell the service Writer your problems, tell him to make sure it is all covered under warranty. It should be as long as some thing is not damaged from misuse. They will take it from there. I work at a ford dealer, we were also a jeep dealer until about 6 months ago. Trust the dealer to find and fix the problems. The more they fix, the more money they make. Do not put off going, if it runs out of warranty, they are very strict and you won't get any help. You can not make them put a new rear end or transmission in the jeep. The dealer does what ever chrysler let's them do. The dealer gives chrysler estimate to fix it right, and cost of replacing the unit. Most repairs have a cost cap, if it cost over a certain amount to fix, chrysler authorizes replacing the whole thing. If you don't feel comfortable once the repair is done, get rid of the vehicle. Keep in mind, what ever they fix, carries an Additional 12/12 warranty. Good luck, hope this answer helps.
