I am looking at buying a used Jeep Wrangler in the next week or two. I visited several used car lots today and saw one that looked really nice. It's a 2007 Wrangler X with manual transmission, 3.8L V6; it's had one owner (per Car Fax) and is extremely clean. What "scares" me about this particular Jeep is that that it only has 16,000 miles and the dealer's list price is only $17,500. I'm looking at Wrangers (X, Sport, Sahara and Rubicon versions) all over the Internet and many with far more miles are priced MUCH higher. The dealer swears that it is in good shape but I'm worried that the price is really low on such a low mileage jeep because there is something wrong with it. I've seen Wranglers with twice as many miles for $1,000 - $2,000 more. Obviously I'll take the Jeep somewhere for a check-up before buying it, but would like to hear your thoughts on this low-mileage Wrangler. Is it too good to be true or simply a great deal?
