I would like to mount new snow tires onto their own rims I have the TPMS system on this Honda ,will I have to buy the TPMS system for the new rims ?? will it be a safety problem if I do not install TPMS on new Rims ??

you will need to get new TPMS sensors if you are not using the existing rims. You can get them through TIre Rack http://www.tirerack.com or through the honda dealer.

if you don't put the TPMS sensors in the new rims then you are defeating their purpose. the warning light will stay on because the sensor signal is missing and if a tire does lose pressure you'll never be alterted to that possibly dangerous condition because you'll assume that the light is just on becuase the sensors are missing.

Tire Rack is a source for tires and rims under the Honda Dealers tire protram. you can order the tires and rims from them and pick them up at an installer read to go. or you can have it done by your sources.

hope that helps
