I have a 2007 honda accord SE v4. I have worked on many nissans, kia's and toyotas, and RX-8's in the past 5 years. My honda needs new front pads and rotors, and also a new set of spark plugs since its at 105k miles. A mechanic next to where I work said hondas maintenance is different than other cars and that only a garage or the dealer can replace the parts because he needs to use special tools.... IS he just trying to get himself business? What other tools will I need other than a spark plug puller, socket set, c clamp and the actual parts to get the job done?
