2007 dodge ram 1500 KEY FOB?

Tonight my KEY FOB on my 2007 dodge ram 1500 key would not unlock my doors or lock them. So I thought it was the battery in the Key Fob. I replaced it and it still would not work. The weird thing is when I press the panic button on the Key Fob the lights will hazard lights will flash twice. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Key fobs for any vehicle are often abused by their owners, mine included. They are tossed around, subjected to cold/heat, and banged and nicked all the time. Since yours has a fresh battery and does seem to be linked to your car, it seems that it is simply a bad unit. Fortunately, eBay has many remote keyless fobs for minimal prices and they come with installation instructions that are super simple to follow.
