I have had the same/similar error code 7 times for the cam shaft/crank shaft sensors....they have been replaced or so I thought ...the cam shaft sensor 3 times....dealer told me crank shaft sensor 1 time....on my way to Monterey yesterday - (day after Xmas) check engine light came on....end up being towed to Salinas all dealers closed....this AM am advised the crank shaft sensor....my dealer states did not ever change crank shaft....however receipt for work done Apr 2010 has 2 cam shaft sensors replaced (same day told crank shaft sensor changed)-nobody can tell me why these sensors keep going out and is irritating as hell to me....I am under warranty until 80K or 2014 so do not pay for repairs, I am at 52K now....does anyone know why these sensors keep going to hell is there a 3rd sensor? My car remains in Salinas and I am home in Antelope-outside Sacramento....thankfully I get free rentals for a week under my warranty.
