2007 Chevy Cobalt Speaker issues?

Hey everyone. I have a 2007 Cobalt LT. This past week my front passenger speaker started acting up. It is only for the Aux input. It works fine with the radio, and CD player, but when I plug my ipod into the Aux input, the speaker doesn't put out much sound. To test it I adjusted the fade and balance to that speaker, and you have to turn the volume up extremely loud to get anything. I was hoping to take the panel off and check the connections, but I am more of an audio person then body person, so I was wondering if anyone a) has had a similar issue or b) knows where to find instructions on disassembling the panel. Just to clarify, I did check the ipod itself and it works fine, so I know that isn't it. Thanks!
 
The problem is not the speaker or it wouldn't work with the radio either. It sounds like you have a bad aux cable. The one you are using between the iPod and the radio's aux jack. If this isn't the problem then it has to be either the aux jack on the radio or the jack on the iPod is bad.
