H hamn Guest Dec 28, 2008 #2 the maxima is sportier, more luxurious, handles better, and has more power. The only up with the accord is that it gets more MPG and its cheaper to insure. It really comes down to MPG- would you rather pay more for gas, or get better handling. My choice would be for the maxima!

S sweetsugar21215 Guest Dec 28, 2008 #3 I think the Maxima is a good choice. The ride is much smoother. The handling is great. The maxima can cost slightly higher then the accords though.
