I'm taking it to a mechanic tomorrow but I want to know what to expect. Car was running completely smoothly til yesterday. Check engine light came on. Has 70K miles on it (took alot of road trips) oil is good and trans oil and filter were changed last year. Ever since yesterday it takes a while to switch gears and does like a hard shift (feels like the car shakes back really hard). Also, when I'm driving and I accelerate...it will be fine..but every couple minutes as I'm accelerating it revs up by itself to a higher rpm..and I feel it pick up really hard...but it doesnt go faster it just feels like it. What could be the problem?
