Ok, I'm buying a first car. I can afford a Mazda RX-8 since I've been saving for years.
So I'm wondering if it's worth spending the extra money on getting a 2006 version of the car other than a '04 or '05. I've heard the '04s and '05s had a lot of problems (other than the recalls), that's why so many of them are being sold. But I've also heard that the '06s fixed these problems and are more reliable. Is this true?
If so, would it be worth it to spend, say, $3000 more on a 2006 than a 2004? The 2006s are newer so almost all have less mileage, which is another good thing.
Thanks
