2006 Honda Civic Coupe Subs, Amp, & Speakers...?

I just bought a 2006 Honda Civic Lx Coupe, I love music and having the biggest, loudest, and best sounding system. Although I do know some about systems, I'm not an expert, not even close. I want to get a head unit, 2 12" or 2 15" subs, amp and possibly speakers. What do I need to know about systems? What type of sub would be best for a Civic Coupe, and what all do I need for my system? I really like Diamond Subs and I like Digital Designs but I don't know what hits the hardest, but still has good sound. Basically what I'm asking is what do i need to make my system complete, and of course, badass?
 
ok here's a set-up that would make you the best and loudest,

door speaker- alpine type-r's
subs- either 1 15" kicker l7 or 2 12" kicker l7s
amp(subs)- a 1000-1200 watt amp
amp(door speakers)- 200 watt 4-channel
