One of my friend was trying to install a cd head unit in my civic because the previous one stopped all of a sudden. The lights were on in the previous one but there was no sound coming from the unit from a cd or the radio so he suggested that if was the cd car steroe instaed. So as he was trying to install it the music came from the new one but all of a sudden it shut down once again and next thing i know the alarm was deactivated and loss the keyless entry and the alarm system and also when i shut the car off the needle on the dashboard or speedometer stays in the middle when the engine cuts off. The interior lights were blown off too. Could this be that he messed with the wrong wires or he blown some fuses?
