Having some problems with the carburetor on my bike. I re-jetted about 1 1/2 year ago, and it ran fine. but now, I have a problem with not being able to get the proper air mixture, and the bike is poppin' and sputtering lately. Cleaned the plugs - ran good for a little while. Should I start simple and just take the carb off the bike and thoroughly clean? Maybe clean out the tank (possible gunk in the tank)?

Good idea don t. I did change the plugs over to a "split fire" type plug months back.
Hey steinway, carb cleaner should have the same affect, no?
