2006 ford focus battery light?

i have a 2006 ford focus and the battery light keep coming on. i have replace the battery and every where i go say's the alternator is getting a charge. the battery light seem to only come on if i go under 50 mph and goes off if i go over 60. what could this be? what should i check?
