void my warranty? I have a 2006 Ford Focus with 39,000 miles my warranty is a 5yr 100,000 power train warranty. I've never gotten the car serviced and now the trans i believe is shot. Being that i haven't taken it to get serviced does this void my warranty.

There's only one way to find out and it won't be here on answers unless there is a certified mechanic in the house who handles the warranties for a dealership. Take it to a certified mechanic and see if the repairs are covered by the warranty. Simple as that.

You realize your transmission is probably bone dry don't you? Take it in and see if you ruined your transmission. And yes you are supposed to get your car serviced at the manufactor's recommended service in order to keep your warranty in effect.

FORD - what did you expect? ---- Kinda like not replacing the timing belt when the book recommends it. You don't replace it and the engine locks up than you pay for it. Don't service the transmission when the Book recommended it and you pay for it. You'll know better next time; lesson learned!
