2006 Dodge Magnum R/T sluggish?

We have a 2006 Dodge Magnum R/T 5.7L Hemi that has been sluggish. If you go under 40 mph it acts like it wants to stall but it hasn't yet & going a higher speed it is sluggish & going up hills it gets bad too. The check engine light did just came on. It doesn't have the get up & go that it used to have. We are taking it in to get fixed but I wanted to see what other people would think it might be.
 
There are things called codes that go into the Magnum. It can really mess your car up, and when that light comes on get it in ASAP!!
It can cause damage to the catalytic converter and other parts. Mine was doing that too ( I have an 05) and it turns out there were power train codes that needed to go in it. I had the codes put in and it ran like it was brand new!!
